  • In April 2009 Bram Schultinge and Philippus Zandstra attended a Training Course on Democracy in Malta
  • On 9 April, EIDP organised a FLARE Seminar on organised crime and human trafficking with key note speaker Bruce Cerew in Clingendael, The Hague.
  • In March 2009, EIDP attended the FLARE Season of Legality kick-off meeting in Italy & Strassbourg, with participation in the 21 March anti-Maffia demonstration in Napels.
  • In March 2009, Jan Willem Hazelhoff attended a Networking Seminar in Yerevan, Armenia.
  • In November 2008, a 3-member delegation of the EIDP participated in a seminar on disabled women in Istanbul, Turkey.
  • In September 2008, Paul van der Haar attended a Training Course in Romania.
  • In June 2008, Lyske van der Werf and Margriet van Dijken organized an international Youth Project in Vahagnadzor, Armenia, on Minorities and Disablities.
  • In June 2008, Lyske van der Werf and Marjo van der Goot attended a Partnership Building Activity in Prijedor, Bosnia-Herzegovia.
  • In May 2008, a 6-member delegation of the EIDP acted as Election Observers for the Parliamentary elections in Georgia. The EOM was carried out in Rustavi, together with SILBA from Denmark and other partners.
  • In April 2008, the EIDP organized a Training Course on Management of European Youth Projects for 20 participants in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
  • In December 2007, Ella Westerhoff attended the Wintersession of the NATO International School of Azerbaijan in Baku.
  • In November 2007, Suzanne de Kruijk attended the annual Conference of the Norwegian Association for Development Research (NFU) ‘Making Institutions work for the Poor’. The conference was hosted by the Chr. Michelsen Institute in Bergen, Norway.

  • In October 2007, Lyske vd Werf and Margriet v Dijken represented the EIDP at the kick-off meeting in Berlin, Germany of the EU-wide start of the FLARE International Program.

  • In October 2006, Olaf Koens participated in a Case Study Trip to Georgia and Azerbaijan, organized by AEGEE-Europe. The CST was named ‘Pathfinders in youth work’, and aimed to support local organizations and facilitate future cooperation.
  • In July 2006, Olaf Koens was a participant in the Council of Europe course for Young NGO leaders, taking place at the People’s Friendship University in Moscow.
  • In May 2006, Luc Vocks took part in a Friedrich Naumann Stiftung funded seminar on youth unemployment in Georgia.
  • In March 2006, the full board of the EIDP was engaged as international election observers to the parliamentary elections
  • in Ukraine. The mission was partly privately funded, and organized by AEGEE-Europe
  • In March 2006, Leander van Delden and Luc Vocks participated in an EC funded seminar on youth unemployment in Moldova.
  • In March 2006, members of the EIDP were among those who were refused entry to Belarus, as part of a Silba mission named ‘Friends Across Borders’.
  • In February 2006, the complete board of the EIDP participated in an EC funded seminar ‘Our Europe – A world of change’ in Moldova.
  • In December 2005, Luc Vocks organized an election observation mission to the Moscow City Duma elections. The mission cooperated with Silba and SILC, and took place in the South-West of Moscow and the Sokol region.
  • In November 2005, members of the EIDP were engaged as international election observers to the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan. The mission found the support of the European Parliament, and was organized by Lymec and Silba.
  • In July 2005, Leander van Delden participated as an OSCE election observer to the parliamentary elections in the northern parts of Albania, close to Kosovo.
  • In March 2004, Luc Vocks participated in the IDC / SEU election observation mission to the presidential elections in Russia. The mission took place in the Northern part of St-Petersburg.
  • Members of the EIDP were engaged as international election observers in Ukraine during both rounds of the presidential elections in 2004.
