Seminar on European Citizenship ‘Different waves, different ways.' Buzau, Romenia. 25/05-31/05 2009.

In May 2009 I attended the seminar on European Citizenship in Romania. The aims of the seminar were to discover the impact of European integration on the lives of young people all over Europe and to find new ways to promote active citizenship in Europe.

In order to achieve these aims we discussed our different points of view on Europe and the future of Europe. What are the borders of Europe? Is it possible to develop an European identity? And what is the future of the European Union? It was very interesting to learn the different visions and ideas of the other participants. I also learned a lot from the country presentations, they were a good opportunity to see, hear, and taste something from different European countries. However, it was not only an informative week; it was also a lot of fun! We went sightseeing, went to a Romanian pub, and did a lot of funny games. At the end of the week we shared ideas and proposals on future projects in Europe, I hope one of these ideas will be developed into a new project in order to further stimulate the European integration. I would like to thank the organizers once more for the wonderful week!
